Music Facilitated Speech Training is used for treating Dysphasia patients. Treatment aims include facilitating patient's speech re-learning and increasing patient’s ability in the communication of needs and feelings.

Emma Mak is the first UK registered ( UK-HPC Health Professions Council ) Music (Arts) Therapist in Hong Kong and is also a Neurological Music Therapist (Fellow).
She is one of the very few Music Therapists in Hong Kong who was specially trained for providing professional Music Psychotherapy services.
